A free activity for all visitors to the Eiffel Tower : open from 8 December 2014 to 15 February 2015 – Every day from 10.30 am to 10.30 pm
After two years of renovation work, the Eiffel Tower’s new 1st floor is bringing back the ice rink this winter! From 8 December 2014 to 15 February 2015, Parisians and visitors to the capital will be able to take advantage of a large 190m² ice-covered area 57 metres above Paris, in the heart of a completely refitted space.
An ice rink in the colours of the new 1st floor…
This winter, red and transparency will be given pride of place for the much-awaited ice rink on the 1st floor of the Eiffel Tower.
As a nod to this theme, a 6-metre high shimmering red Eiffel Tower decorates the space.
The perfect spot for taking souvenir photos!
… open to all
Skates (size 25 to 47) are provided free of charge for visitors*. Children’s skates and “penguin” sledge-chairs are provided for young visitors. Mobility-impaired visitors are welcome: access to the rink is easy and sledge-chairs are available.
A 57-metre high outdoor bar
A bar placed at the side of the ice rink offers a dual access for spectators as well as for skaters! Seasonal hot drinks, such as hot chocolate (€3), mulled wine (€5) or pumpkin soup (€6) are served with pretzels (€3) or Christmas paninis (€6.50).
An opportunity to discover the level’s new glass floor
In the day time or in the evening, with family or friends, the ice rink offers a fun and sporting activity which completes the experience of the level’s new attractions: the glass floor, the new museographic circuit, the immersive film, and more.
*therefore, personal skates are not authorised. It should be noted that, as for all ice rinks, it is compulsory to wear gloves.
The Eiffel Tower is open every day and every evening from 9.30 am to 11.45 pm.
