The Eiffel Tower has also gone crazy for League of Legends, and more specifically for its Worlds 2019 competition, the ultimate e-sport event. The tower will host a press conference to introduce the team finalists on November 8th, in the Gustave Eiffel Lounge located on the 1st floor. This will be an opportunity for a select few to admire the trophy up close, and to participate in a random drawing for the chance to win six entries (3 x 2 tickets) to the final on November 10th at the AccorHotels Arena.
To participate in the drawing and win tickets, you need to:
. Download and print a ticket for the event with your name on it from the www.eventbrite.fr platform*.
. Come to the Eiffel Tower visitors’ entrance where you’ll be given a participant’s bracelet that allows you to purchase a “stairs” entry ticket.
. Walk up to the Gustave Eiffel Lounge on the 1st floor with your “Eventbrite” invitation. It serves as your personalized raffle ticket, and will be placed in the urn reserved for this purpose.
The drawing will take place on Friday, November 8th, at 5:00 pm. The fans in attendance will also have an exclusive chance to admire the Summoner’s Cup, as they call the League of Legends trophy, that will be on display in the lounge from 2:00 until 4:30 pm.
A reminder: League of Legends is an online video game that brings together 100 million players from around the world. Its world championship is the most prestigious and most watched e-sport championship. This year, the final will take place on November 10th, at the AccordHotels Arena. Close to 20,000 spectators and approximately 100 million online viewers are expected. An “e-sport” village will be set up on the City Hall Esplanade from 6 to 10 November.
* Participation limited to the first 500 who sign up.
